FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You don't need to know how to pose, where to put your hands, or how to "act natural". That is my job to help guide you. You only need to show up and be present in the moment. I will guide you the entire time. Think of our session as intentional time together, whether you are on a date or it's family outing or embracing this new season of your life.
What should we wear for our session?
I recommend neutral, earth tones, soft textures and layers. These will make for timeless photos. After booking, you will receive a styling guide to help coordinate your outfits. I also believe that at the end of the day, it is your photos and I want you to wear what you love.
Can you recommend any locations?
Of course! I already have a location list ready to send you with lots of different vibes depending on what you are looking for. Whether it's an open field, tree heavy, tall grass, lake, downtown, etc.
How long does it take to get our photos?
After you finish your session you will receive your fully edited gallery within 2 weeks. At first you will receive a semi edited gallery within 3-7 days from your session, then once you make your selections, the final edits will be done within that next week. During busy season it may take 3 weeks, but I will always keep you informed.
What happens if the weather isn't ideal?
I will reach out to you the week of the session to let you know I am aware of the possible weather affecting our session date. We will decide together either the day before or the day of if we need to re-schedule as we know in TX the weather can change really quick.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
They don't need to. I lean into play, movement and interaction instead of forcing smiles. Some of the most meaningful photos come from those in-between moments. If they need a moment, let them explore around us while we take other pictures and then try again.
Can we bring our dog?
As long as the location allows it and you are comfortable managing them, then heck yes!

Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes, I do!! I offer seasonal minis. There will usually be a round of spring minis, fall minis and Christmas minis. These tend to be priced around $175-$200 depending on if it's outdoor or in a studio and include 8 digital images.
